How are Eyelash Extensions applied?
They are applied on a hair by hair basis to your own eyelashes for a completely natural look. A single natural eyelash is isolated and a synthetic lash is glued to the top of your own natural eyelash approximately 1mm from the eyelid so neither the glue nor the lash has contact with the skin.
How long will the Procedure take?
The procedure will take approximately 2hrs to 2.5hrs depending on the look you are wanting. Sometimes it takes longer depending on your eyelash type. It is a meticulous procedure that requires patience and concentration, so be sure to set aside 1-3hrs for your appointment. When coming in for your infill appointment ensure your eyelashes are clean and free of mascara and makeup. It is not possible for me to give your eyelashes a thorough cleanse and any residue will prevent proper bonding between your natural lashes and extensions, causing the extensions to come off.

Can I wear Mascara on eyelash extensions?
You won’t need to use mascara anymore because you will get long and beautiful eyelashes. BUT if you still want to wear mascara, use safe mascara which is glycol, carbonate and beeswax free so it will not break the bonds formed between your natural lashes and your extensions. Do NOT apply waterproof mascara because it will dissolve the bonds with your eyelashes. Also remember to remove with a product that does not contain oil of any kind as this will affect the glue. Wiping down towards the lashes will lessen the life of them. Do NOT use cotton balls/rounds/Q-tips they will snag on the lashes and possibly break off the extensions harming your natural lashes, use cotton cloth material.
What Kind if lashes do you use?
Lash extensions are a synthetic blend of fibers created to replicate the look and feel of a natural lash. I can order individual mink lash extensions along with real Siberian mink lashes. SassyLashin offers a variety of lengths, thicknesses, and curl types to accommodate every client’s desired look. All of the lash extensions are extremely light weight and non-damaging to the natural lash, when applied correctly.
What are my options for length and curling?
B-Curl – Eyelash extension with a slight curl starting at the end of the extension
C-Curl – Eyelash extension with the curl starting at the mid to mid-end of the extension (most popular)
CC-Curl – Eyelash extension with curl starting at the middle of the extension
0.15mm – The thickness of this lash extension appears similar in thickness to an average natural eyelash
0.20mm – The thickness of this lash extension is approximately double the width of a natural eyelash
I need to cancel my appointment. Will I be charged?
Out of courtesy to SassyLashin Staff, we require 24-Hour Advanced cancellation notice. Failure to do so will result in 50% charge of the scheduled service.
100% of a scheduled service will be charged for the following:
- If a client misses their appointment 2+times
- If a client misses an appointment on a holiday or when appointments are at a premium
- If a client misses their weekend appointment
